Privacy Policy
This policy describes the starter configuration of The Everyday Table, published by [Add publisher legal name in config.php]. No analytics or advertising trackers are installed by default. Contact us at [Add contact email in config.php] with privacy questions.
Saved recipes and browser preferences
When you save a recipe, its identifier is kept in your browser's local storage. Your cookie preferences are also stored locally so the site can remember your choice. Saved recipes are not an account and do not automatically sync between devices.
You can remove saved recipes from your recipe box and change optional tracking choices using Cookie preferences in the footer. Clearing this site's browser data removes locally stored choices and saved recipes. Private browsing or blocked storage may prevent these features from working.
Contact messages
The contact form is available only after the publisher configures and enables delivery. When active, it asks for the details shown on the form, such as your name, email address, and message. The site uses a PHP session to validate the form and passes accepted messages to the web host's mail service.
Messages may be retained in the publisher's mailbox and by the hosting or email provider. This starter site does not place contact messages in a website database. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the form.
Email newsletter
Newsletter registration is optional and remains unavailable until an email provider is configured. If you submit an active form, your email address and any provider-required fields are sent to that provider. Its confirmation and unsubscribe process applies.
The publisher should identify the active newsletter provider and its privacy information here before enabling subscriptions. Submitting a form does not itself confirm that you have been subscribed.
Hosting and optional tracking
Your browser sends information needed to request pages, such as an IP address, browser information, and the requested address. The hosting provider may keep server logs for operating and protecting the service. Its settings determine what is logged and how long logs are retained.
Optional analytics and advertising are off by default. If the publisher adds those services, this site is designed to load them only after the corresponding consent choice. The publisher should identify each service, purpose, recipient, and retention period here before it is activated.
Your choices and requests
You can use Cookie preferences in the footer to change or withdraw optional consent. Withdrawing consent stops future loading by this site after the change takes effect; it does not undo information already sent to a provider.
To ask about a message you sent, request a correction or deletion, or raise another privacy concern, contact [Add contact email in config.php]. The publisher will consider the request under the rules that apply to its location and your situation. The publisher must complete its contact, provider, and retention details before operating this starter site as a live service.
Changes to this policy
The publisher should update this page when its data practices change. Check the page again before using a newly added form or optional service.
